High-class classic boats par excellence.
This section of our site is dedicated to “historical” boats of the sector, from outright authentic Vintage Boats, to faithful reconstructions, to those more simply called classic or collectible boats. Vintage Boats are a category on their own in the world of sailing, wielding their charm in every moment on the market, on every sea and in every social class.
They are a symbol of a particular culture and sensibility. The denomination is suitable when the construction is previous 1950. Constructions realized between 1950 and 1977 are called Classic Yachts, a few realized between the Sixties and the Seventies can be defined Vintage. “Spirit of Tradition” are instead more modern boats with traditional design and construction materials. EastCoast Yacht Broker’s Classic section also includes recreated and remodelled boats ((go to Refitting section)) and classic projects, newly built.
The passion for these out-and-out works of art requires close examination upon the history of the specific boat, from the Shipbuilder’s Yard to the Designer, and documents are often voluminous or confidential. Contact the ECYB secretariat to receivecomplete technical specs as well as, in many cases, records full of important and interesting information on the specific boat.Clients who contact East Coast Yacht Brokers for more information, or to purchase or sell a Classic Boat, know that they will findattentive, skilled, and passionate interlocutors. Ready to handle suitably the issue, study or research drawings andcorrespondence, or particular records, give advice and estimates, arrange expert technical and commercial reports. |
